Gluten Free Energy Bars

I’m often on the look out for a clean energy bar. You know, something you can take with you to the gym, on a hike or whenever you need a little energy boost. I was really excited to find these oat free, and gluten free energy bars which are perfect for clean eating on the go. Warning….they are REALLY addicting!

What you need:

  • 1 1/4 cups of Almonds (or cashews)

Step two: Place the remaining cashews (or almonds) and sunflower seeds into your food processor. Roughly chop for about 1 minute.

Using your hands press and smooth evenly through out the pan. Pack tightly so the bars wont fall apart. (should be fine these are very moist and chewy bars)

Step seven: Place in your refrigerator and let cool until the bars have hardened. (Aproximately one hour).

I hope you enjoy these bars as much as we do. You can of course, experiment with other dried fruits etc… to come up with your own amazing flavors! Please share your creations in the comments below.
